Gooodbye VAT - Virtual Assistant Technologies Inc Philippines: Hello Freelance
>> Sunday, July 17, 2011
It's been a couple of weeks since our company was abandoned by its owner together with his troupe. After what happened all of us were shocked because in just a blink of an eye we became jobless! (There's no more "verified" to greet us every morning!)
VAT Inc. was the 4th company I have worked with. The company which honed my talent to be the best in every field i was assigned and to serve my clients with the best performance I can be. Somehow I was a bit lonely because I'm jobless and above all because of the people whom I was with for several years and months...
If I could recall my experience in VAT Inc. there are a lot of "1st time" that happened only in this dissolve company. My two years and seven months was indeed full of magnanimous emotions that traverse in every group of people in the 3rd Floor of Rosary Bldg., Iznart St., Iloilo City (address gali??). These are not invalid ID - as what the Biometric said these are fully expression of experience that I have in VAT....
Now we are X-VAT.. abandoned because the company was low-VAT which I heard does NO-VAT? The reason why we will comeVAT and for sure will aVAT for we will fight our own VAT...

- I was able to buy gadgets on my own expense such as laptop, cellphone, micro SD and I also re-charged the battery at the office then I committed a violation... LOL
- It was my first time to talk to "Kanovas" (Check Reggie's vocabulary for more!)
- I have encountered a 60-year old office-mate! Old yet groovy but oh boy she's also sleepy... Peace Ta Prescie...
- I have met one of my best buddies and my freelance mentor and probably next time my adviser to become the best Daddy (tatay lang gali...) Edbarr!
- Who will forgot Chelsea and it's paranormal friend - Nong Jan.. Tell me who slap the C.R. door while I was peeing? The first time to experience a scary moment at the office...
- The ever dearest Mommy and Tita of all - Tita "Ciabatta"... it was my first to eat then..
- The Bagginess et al... Want to laugh? Be a member and you'll experience a true and real life action.. It was my first time to have group of friends older than me.. Peace guys...
- Playing scrabble is one of my favorite past time and playing it online is another level. Then it was my first time to play an online scrabble or literati: Karina, Carlo, Reggie can we do it again?
- Of course the most controversial and probably the first in Iloilo, if not the first - the exercise balls... Can you name some of our office mates who felt down the balls? for sure we'll have a common answer...
- X-mas-chringles! Undoubtedly the best event in the whole VAT...It was my first time again to experience this one.. The Pantat Online or Virtual Pet Shop office... How about the 3F as in "Frog for France"..
- Talking to someone on the phone is common.. but talking to the cubicle next to you at the same time talking with her face-to-face is weird.. Thanks Miss Reggie you made me explore skype's capacity.. Skype one of the few programs that I have used for the first time in VAT office...
- Working in a company means working with people with at least more than 10 people.. But during those firsts month of VAT we're just 6 doing Thesis job... ay clients job gali..
- One of the strongest earthquake I've experienced was also when i was in VAT. That was April 30, 2010... I remember Wilrose hiding under her cubicle while the rest of the guys has pokerface...
These are few of the things I could remember and will forever cherish... The lesson I've learn from this is "life uncertainty". Moving forward maybe one of the solutions but of course we all deserve to avail our rights!
Now we are X-VAT.. abandoned because the company was low-VAT which I heard does NO-VAT? The reason why we will comeVAT and for sure will aVAT for we will fight our own VAT...
